Budget and Finances
Council approves the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio's budget on an annual basis. The budget is broken into two categories - Capital and Operating. The Capital budget covers long term investments like infrastructure and facilities. Examples of Capital expenses include building and rebuilding of roads, maintenance of municipal facilities, and new equipment. The Operating budget covers the daily expenses to deliver municipal services, such as salaries and wages, supplies and energy costs.
2025 Budget
Each year, Township of Adjala-Tosorontio Staff work hard to develop the Capital and Operating Budgets that address the unique needs of our community and pave the way for a sustainable future. For the 2025 Budget, Council will be considering the Capital Budget in the Fall of 2024 to allow for construction tenders to be awarded and construction to commence in the early part of 2025.

2024 Budget
Council adopted the 2024 Municipal Capital and Operating Budget at its Regular Council Meeting held on February 14th, 2024.
