Led by experienced and knowledgeable trainers from Clerks on Call, the Township will be hosting a free Candidate Information Session on April 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Public Room of the Municipal Centre for individuals considering running in the 2026 Municipal Election.

The session is designed to provide prospective candidates with essential information to help them make informed decisions before entering the municipal election process. Key topics will include:

• The role of a municipal councillor;
• The role of staff; and
• The importance of accountability & transparency.
