Documents requiring a Commissioner of Oaths can be brought to the Municipal Office anytime during regular business hours: Monday - Friday  8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

The fee is $20.00 per document. 

All documents must be signed in front of the Commissioner and each person signing must present valid photo identification.

Our Commissioner can sign the following documents 
  • Township of Adjala-Tosorontio generated documents 
  • Pension Documents  
  • Immunization exemptions 
  • Declaration of Apprenticeship Hours
  • Lost Cheque/Bank Card
  • Name Change (booklet must be completed prior to commission)
  • Transfer of a Used Motor Vehicle in the Province of Ontario/ Family Gift 
  • OSAP – Statement of Common Law Status/ Supporting Children
  • Theft of a GST or Federal Cheque
  • Unregistered Vehicle (boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles, trailers, etc.)
  • Motor Vehicle Dealer’s Compensation Fund
  • Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal
  • Proof of Residency 
  • Proof of Loss of Motor Vehicle/Boat (from an Insurance Company) 
  • Private investigator or Security Guard License
  • Certified True Documents 

The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio does not provide notary public services.
