Township of Adjala-Tosorontio Welcomes New Chief Administrative Officer

[ADJALA-TOSORONTIO, ON – Tuesday, February 11, 2025] – The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio is pleased to announce Christopher Kalimootoo as its new Chief Administrative Officer (C.A.O.), effective March 25, 2025.

Christopher brings a wealth of knowledge in municipal administration and leadership, with a strong background in engineering. With his extensive knowledge of municipal governance and commitment to service excellence, Christopher is well-positioned to guide the Township toward continued growth and success.

“We are excited to welcome Christopher to our Township,” says, Mayor Scott W. Anderson. “I look forward to working alongside Christopher on the advancement of our strategic goals and Council priorities. He will play a key role in guiding the future of our Township and ensuring that we continue to provide quality services to our residents.”

Christopher holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Guelph and Master of Public Administration from University of Western. He has previously served as Senior Manager, Engineering Review for the City of Markham, Manager of Engineering for the Town of Fort Erie, and Director of Engineering and Operations for the City of Port Colborne.
