Blue background with snowfall warning in white text

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a snowfall warning for our area. Our Public Works team is ready—every vehicle has been checked, and we have 9 trucks and 2 graders on standby to tackle the snow. Graders are already out pushing snow further back to help keep roads clear.

Stay Home if Possible
We strongly encourage residents to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel during this weather event. While our plows will be out working hard, safety is our top priority—for you and our drivers. If visibility becomes too poor, we may need to declare a significant weather event and temporarily pull plows off the roads.

Priority Roads for Emergency Vehicles
If you must go out, be aware that certain roads are prioritized for emergency access:

  • Concession Road 3 (Sunnidale-Tosorontio Townline to Highway 89)
  • 17th Sideroad (Concession 3 to County Road 13)
  • Woodland Heights Drive (17th Sideroad to County Road 13)
