Statement by Mayor Scott W. Anderson 

Departure of Chief Administrative Officer

June 21, 2024 - The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio has parted ways with Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Nelson Santos effective June 20, 2024.

Mr. Santos held the position for nearly two years and in that time worked with Council and Staff to restore the financial footing of the Township, implement new policies, advance development processes, and encourage community engagement.

On behalf of Council, I thank Mr. Santos for his contributions to the Township and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Council is in the process of appointing an Interim CAO and further details will be released at a later date.

The Township remains committed to maintaining and ensuring continuity of our services to the community.
