Notice - Sale of Surplus Land 

TAKE NOTICE at the Special Council Meeting held on July 12, 2023, the Council of the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio declared the lands described as being Part Lot 19 Concession 3 Tosorontio Part 1 51R30636; Adjala-Tosorontio, PIN 58986-0090 (LT), to be surplus. The subject property is landlocked and does not have road access.

Purchase offers are being accepted for the subject surplus lands until August 25, 2023.

In accordance with the Township’s Sale and Other Disposition of Land Policy, purchase offers are subject to approval by the Council of the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio and must be accompanied by:

• $3,000 deposit in the form of a bank draft or cheque certified by a bank or trust corporation, payable to the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio; and
• $200.00 non-refundable administration fee.

Purchase offers may be submitted ATTN: Clerk at the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio Municipal Centre, 7855 Sideroad 30, Alliston ON, L9R 1V1 during regular business hours.

The Township makes no representation regarding the title to or any other matters relating to the land. The purchaser(s) are responsible for all Township costs associated with the sale of the subject surplus lands.

Anyone who claims that their land will be prejudicially affected by the proposed sale may submit to the Clerk in writing, reasons supporting the claim by August 25, 2023.
