Colgan Crossing Subdivision Fires

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(October 7, 2024, Adjala-Tosorontio ON) On October 4, 2024, the Township responded to concerns from Colgan residents regarding the recent fires that have occurred in the Colgan Crossing subdivision by meeting with the Nottawasaga Detachment of the O.P.P. and representatives from Tribute Communities.

To address concerns O.P.P. will have additional police presence in the area and Tribute Communities will be making enhancements to the existing security measures.

“I want to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of the Adjala-Torosontio Fire Department and New Tecumseth Fire and Emergency Services in extinguishing the fires and limiting damage to surrounding homes,” stated Mayor Scott W. Anderson. “The Township is committed to working with Tribute Communities and the Nottawasaga O.P.P. to ensure the safety of our residents.”
