An upcoming meeting of the Joint Compliance Audit Committee is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Simcoe County Administration Centre. Background

The Joint Compliance Audit Committee reviews municipal election campaign funding under the Municipal Elections Act, and determines if an audit should be conducted to identify irregularities.

The Joint Committee is comprised of the City of Orillia, Town of Bradford-West Gwillimbury, Town of Collingwood, Town of Innisfil, Town of Midland, Town of New Tecumseth, Town of Penetanguishene, Town of Wasaga Beach, Township of Adjala-Tosorontio, Township of Clearview, Township of Essa, Township of Oro-Medonte, Township of Ramara, Township of Severn, Township of Springwater, Township of Tay and the Township of Tiny.

The Committee has five (5) citizen members who reside within the participating municipalities with the County Clerk being responsible for the meeting administration
