Township of Adjala-Tosorontio Releases Draft New Official Plan for Public Review

Adjala-Tosorontio, ON – The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio is pleased to announce the release of its Draft New Official Plan, a key document that will guide growth, development, and land use planning in the Township for the next 25 years.

“The Official Plan is our vision for every level of planning in the Township – from the smallest neighbourhood improvements to major growth initiatives ” says Mayor Scott Anderson. “It’s a roadmap that reflects our shared values, guides responsible growth, and ensures that every decision we make protects our environment, supports our economy, and strengthens our community. By engaging residents and working together, we can create a plan that not only meets today’s needs but sets the foundation  for a vibrant, sustainable tomorrow.”

Public Engagement is a Priority

The Township invites residents, businesses, and stakeholders to review the draft plan and provide feedback. Community input is essential to ensure the plan reflects local priorities and values.
