Residents will see a reduction in their sewer meter rate utility bills starting in Quarter 2, with the new billing cycle beginning on April 1st.

Effective April 1st, Council has approved an update to the Sewer meter rate, decreasing the cubic meter amount recorded by the water meter by 20%.

Here’s an example of how this reduction will be applied:

Effective April 1, 2025:

The water/sewer bill will be reduced by $108.60.

This reduction will be seen on the second quarter billing which will be mailed out the first week of July 2025.
