Take Notice that an application has been received from Corey and Dreena Klempner for a minor variance from Zoning By-law No. 03-56, pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.
Location: 8914 10th Sideroad Adjala, Adjala-Tosorontio.
Proposal: The subject lands are zoned Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation (ORM C) Zone under Zoning By-law No. 03-56, as amended. The applicant is requesting relief to permit a proposed 164.8 m² (1,773.8 sq. ft.) one and a half storey garage to be located within the front yard, whereas Zoning By-law No. 03-56, as amended, permits a maximum building area of 140 m² (1,507 sq. ft.) and requires structures associated with residential uses to be located within the rear yard or interior side yard pursuant to Section 3.4(e)(i); and whereas Zoning By-law No. 21-15 permits buildings greater than 75 m² to have a maximum height of one storey.
Take Notice that the Committee of Adjustment will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to participate virtually, make comments through letters, faxes, emails, voice messages or video clips or be notified of the Committee’s Decision regarding this application, please contact the Planning Department.

A copy of this Notice has been circulated to all assessed property owners within 60 metres of the subject property as per the requirements of the Planning Act. The attached Location Map identifies the general location of the subject lands, and the Site Plan illustrates the proposed Minor Variance.
