Application for Consent
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended – Sections 53(5)

Take Notice that Carl & Dianne Schnurr have submitted two applications for consent—one for a severance and one for a hydro utility easement—pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.

Location: 32 Fisher Drive – Everett, Adjala-Tosorontio.

Proposal: The subject lands are zoned Hamlet Residential (HR1) and are located within the Hamlet of Everett.

The first consent application proposes to sever the lands to create a new residential lot. The second consent application proposes to establish a hydro utility easement on the severed parcel to maintain the existing hydro connection and ensure continued service to the retained lands. The proposed severed parcel would have an area of approximately 0.30 hectares with 30.7 metres of frontage. The retained parcel would have an area of approximately 1.2 hectares with 45.6 metres of frontage.

Take Notice that the Committee of Adjustment will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to participate virtually, make comments through letters, faxes, emails, voice messages or video clips or be notified of the Committee’s Decision regarding this application, please contact the Planning Department.

This meeting will be live streamed by the municipality through our iCompass Portal.

A copy of this Notice has been circulated to all assessed property owners within 60 metres of the subject property as per the requirements of the Planning Act. The attached Location Map identifies the general location of the subject lands, and the Site Plan illustrates the proposed Minor Variance.

You are entitled to attend the public hearing and express your views regarding this application. You may attend in person, or you may be represented by an agent or legal counsel. Additional information regarding the application is available for review at the Municipal Office (7855 Sideroad 30, Alliston ON L9R 1V1) during regular business hours.
