Application for Minor Variance

Take Notice that an application has been received from Shane McMann for a minor variance from Zoning By-law No. 03-57, pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.
Location: 2627 Concession Road 2, Adjala-Tosorontio.
Proposal: The subject lands are zoned Rural (R) Zone under Zoning By-law No. 03-57, as amended. The purpose of the application is to permit a proposed 111.5 square metre (1,200 square foot) accessory structure (garage) to be located within the front yard of the subject property whereas section 3.4(e)(ii) of Zoning By-law No. 03-57 requires accessory structures in all zones other than Residential Zones to be located within the rear yard or interior side yard. The requested variance would permit the proposed accessory structure to be located within the front yard.
Take Notice that the Committee of Adjustment will hold a Hybrid Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. If you would like to participate virtually, make comments through letters, faxes, emails, voice messages or video clips or be notified of the Committee’s Decision regarding this application, please contact the Planning Department.

A copy of this Notice has been circulated to all assessed property owners within 60 metres of the subject property as per the requirements of the Planning Act. The attached Location Map identifies the general location of the subject lands, and the Site Plan illustrates the proposed Minor Variance.
