Take Notice that an application has been received from Deryk & Amanda Smethurst for a minor variance from Zoning By-law No. 03-56, which amends Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 03-57, pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.
Location: 2100 Concession Road 5, Adjala-Tosorontio.
Proposal: The property is zoned Oak Ridges Moraine Natural Core (ORM N) and Oak Ridges Moraine Natural Conservation (ORM C). A minor variance is requested to permit the construction of an agricultural structure in the front yard of the existing dwelling, whereas Section 3.3 of Zoning By-law 03-56, added by By-law 20-31, requires agricultural structures to be located either a minimum of 100 metres from the front lot line or behind the dwelling, whichever is more restrictive. The proposed structure will be approximately 4,600 sq. ft. in size and is intended for the storage of agricultural equipment.

A copy of this Notice has been circulated to all assessed property owners within 60 metres of the subject property as per the requirements of the Planning Act. The attached Location Map identifies the general location of the subject lands, and the Site Plan illustrates the proposed Minor Variance.
