The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio Committee of Adjustment approved Minor Variance Application File No. A-10-26 on June 17, 2026, under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended.
Purpose of Application: To permit a new single-detached dwelling to be located behind the existing and proposed agricultural structures on the subject lands, whereas By-law No. 20-31, which amended Section 4.34 of Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 03-57, as well as Schedule “B”, Section 5.1, requires a new dwelling unit to be located closer to the front lot line than any agricultural structure; and to recognize the existing lot area deficiency of 32.13 ha, whereas Zoning By-law No. 03-57 for the Rural (R) Zone requires a minimum lot area of 36 ha.
