A Court of Revision is a hearing held under the Ontario Drainage Act that provides property owners with an opportunity to appeal the assessment assigned to their property in the Engineer’s Report. The Court reviews appeals related to how drainage project costs have been allocated among affected properties.

Property owners wishing to appeal their assessment must submit a written notice of appeal no later than August 16, 2026, 10 days before the hearing date, in accordance with Section 52(3) of the Drainage Act.

Affected property owners are encouraged to review the Engineer’s Report and assessment schedule before the hearing, and attend the Court of Revision held at the Municipal Centre in Council Chambers.
