Thinking about serving your community? There is still time to file your nomination for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections, but the deadline is approaching quickly.

Nominations close on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Individuals interested in running for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillor, or School Board Trustee are encouraged to submit their nomination before the deadline.

Candidate Nomination Packages are available at the Municipal Centre. Prospective candidates should review the package carefully and contact the Clerk’s Department to arrange an appointment for filing their nomination.
