Adjala-Tosorontio Fire Department is currently recruiting Volunteer/Paid On-Call Firefighters to join its dedicated team serving the community. Firefighters play a vital role in protecting lives, property, and supporting residents during emergencies—and the department is looking for individuals ready to step up and make a difference.

Residents interested in learning more about the role, training, and commitment involved are encouraged to attend an upcoming information session at either Station One or Station Two. These sessions offer a great opportunity to meet firefighters, ask questions, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to serve.

Information Sessions:

• July 9 at 7 P.M., Station 2 in Loretto
• July 15 at 7 P.M., Station 1 in Everett

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Reside within 8 kms of an ATFD Fire Station
  • Station 1: 6234 County Road 13, Everett
  • Station 2: 2821 County Road 50, Loretto
• Ability to provide a clean Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire
• Ability to provide successful completion of testing through Ontario Fire Administration Inc (OFAI) – Stage 1 & 3 upon hire
• Possess a valid Ontario G Drivers Licence, and ability to provide a clean driver’s abstract upon hire
• Ability to meet &/or exceed ATFD targets for attending training and emergency calls

Applicants must complete Stage 1/FACT and Stage 3/FPAT assessments. All fees associated with testing are the responsibility of the applicant.
