The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio is now under an EXTREME Fire Danger Rating.

Effective Immediately:

A full Burn Ban is in place.

• No burning of any kind is allowed
• No burn permits will be issued until further notice
• No fireworks permitted
• Cooking fires and any coal, charcoal, wood, or woodchip-fueled barbecue devices
  • Cooking appliances with a mechanical shutoff (e.g., propane or natural gas barbecues)
  • These must be placed on a hard, non-flammable surface (such as a deck or patio)
  • Ensure they are well away from any combustible materials

This ban has been implemented to help protect public safety and minimize the risk of wildfires during these exceptionally dry conditions.
